Let’s just take a moment to thank the parents who go above and beyond for their little ones, who take an active interest in what their children watch and listen to. Rather than just putting a nursery rhyme album on repeat, they expose their kids—carefully, responsibly—to a wide variety of what our expansive human culture has to offer them.
Because of parents who do that, we have this video of a toddler dancing to LL Cool J’s classic “Going Back to Cali,” and asking her mother a rhetorical question to which her young soul already knew the answer: “Do you hear that bass, Mom?”
Thank you, parents.
