Dangerously Hot on the East Coast With Heat Index Hitting 110

High humidity is driving baking conditions along the Eastern Seabord.

Millions of Americans will experience dangerously high heat Monday, with temperatures continuing to soar across the country. Some 48 percent of the U.S. will be seeing temperatures above 90 degrees, but on the East Coast, from the Mid-Atlantic states through New England, temperatures could feel as high as 110 due to high humidity. It is expected to cool off by Wednesday.
