David Sweat, who led police on a manhunt after he and fellow convict Richard Matt escaped from an upstate New York prison, says he did not have sex with prison worker Joyce Mitchell, who is accused of helping the pair escape. Sweat reportedly told investigators that Mitchell had sex with Matt and offered to be the convicts’ getaway driver if they promised to kill her husband, but she never showed up. Sweat is now recovering from two gunshot wounds sustained during his re-capture.
