DC Comics has fired editor Eddie Berganza after a BuzzFeed report described years of his alleged sexual harassment against female colleagues. Berganza, who has been at DC Comics for 25 years, forcibly kissed colleagues and a woman at a comic convention, those women allege. DC Comics was aware of the allegations, but demoted Berganza in 2012 instead of firing him. The company fired Berganza on Saturday, after the BuzzFeed report. “DC prides itself on being a premier destination for top talent as well as an amazing creatively collaborative place to work that is a safe and secure environment for our employees and extended freelance family,” Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, told DC employees in a Saturday email.
