A gun dealer who sold four weapons to New Zealand mosque shooting suspect Brenton Tarrant said he found “nothing extraordinary” about him. It’s not clear if the alleged mass murderer bought any of the weapons used in Friday’s hate-fueled attack from Gun City of Christchurch. The store owner, David Tipple, said Tarrant bought the guns legally through a “police-verified online mail order process,” the Associated Press reported. Tipples added that he and the shop staff are “dismayed and disgusted” by the carnage. New Zealand’s prime minister has called for stricter gun laws in the wake of the massacre.
