Demi Lovato Sorry After ‘P*ssy’ Election Joke

Demi Lovato apologized Tuesday evening after making an ill-advised joke about the election to her 39.4 million followers on Twitter. “Sometimes you just have to agree to disagree and grab some pussy,” she wrote in the now-deleted tweet. Lovato’s joke was a reference to last month’s bombshell Access Hollywood tapes showing Donald Trump explaining to Billy Bush that he feels entitled to grab women “by the pussy” because of his celebrity status. Lovato later tweeted, “I apologize for the joke I made earlier.. seemed to offend some people. Just making light of the election :\” Lovato has been a vocal supporter of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and appeared at an event with Chelsea Clinton in September.
