Rock stars: They’re just like us. In a poignant and painful essay for Salon, journalist Denise Grollmus describes the end of her marriage to Patrick Carney, drummer for the Grammy-winning Black Keys. While the causes are perhaps unusual—not everyone has a spouse who is frequently away from home on tour—the separation and divvying up of possessions are as ordinary and wrenching as they are for any other couple.
