Cameroon's defeat by Denmark Saturday meant they had to say goodbye to the 2010 World Cup. Though predicted to be the best team on the continent, Dennis Rommedahl's game-winning goal sealed the Cameroons' fate. The Netherlands, which shut out Japan 1-0, will now advance to the second round, with their position at the top of Group E. Japan will be left to face Denmark, who they have a good chance of beating. In a disappointing and lackluster Group D game, Ghana and Australia ended in a draw, despite Ghana's expected domination as a team.
