Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe will step down from his post “effective immediately,” NBC News reported Monday. His departure from the FBI comes amid criticism from conservatives over alleged anti-Trump bias in the bureau regarding investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 election. Associate Deputy Director of the FBI David Bowdich will replace McCabe as Acting Deputy Director, CNN reported.
