Ever read a friend’s post on your Facebook feed that’s, well, a little blah? Todd Greene, the CEO of Pub Nub, a San Francisco-based technology and social games developer, says there should an option for saying just that. His answer: the “meh” button. A viral hit since Boing Boing wrote about it this week, the “meh” button has already been integrated in at least 1,500 sites. “What’s great about real-time technology is that you see the results immediately, you don’t have to wait,” Greene told the New York Daily News. As for the word’s origins, “meh” is believed to have been coined in a 1992 episode of The Simpsons and was added to the Collins English dictionary in 2008.
