Has Dr. Conrad Murray been wrongly blamed for the King of Pop’s death? Murray’s lawyers plan to argue so, claiming that it was Michael Jackson—not the doctor—who administered the fatal dose of propofol. They plan to present this as Murray’s legal defense in court, claiming that Murray only gave Jackson a safe one-eighth of the bottle, while Jackson injected himself with the remaining contents in the two minutes Murray left the room use to the bathroom. When Murray returned, his lawyers say Jackson’s eyes were open and his pupils dilated, and the doctor immediately began giving him CPR. Jackson was apparently frustrated that he couldn’t sleep and was addicted to the drug, the defense will claim. "Michael liked to push it," a source told TMZ.
