Is it too soon for a glowing biography of a Wall Street Executive? Not for JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who is the subject of a new book: The House of Dimon, by Patricia Crisafulli. The book tracks Dimon’s rise through the ranks of Salomon Smith Barney, his firing, and subsequent comeback. Dimon has lead JP Morgan through the financial crisis, and spearheaded two monumental events: their acquisition of Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual. According to a Reuters review, the book portrays Dimon as a humble, straight-talking guy, who works 80-hour weeks and still has time for his family.
