Disabled Woman Tortured and Enslaved

A horror story is developing in Kirkwood, Missouri, where the FBI arrested five men Thursday for imprisoning, torturing, and raping a mentally disabled woman over a period of five years. The indictment alleges that Edward “Master Ed” Bagley Sr., 43, met the woman when she was 16 and a runaway. Five years of what U.S. Attorney Beth Phillips called "among the most horrific ever prosecuted" in the Western District of Missouri ensued. The four other men arrested paid Bagley to watch him torture the woman online or torture her themselves. The investigation began 18 months ago when the woman was hospitalized after she’d been electrocuted and suffocated to the point of inducing a heart attack. The men could face life in prison.
