The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission is reportedly “confident” that it caught and killed the alligator that attacked and drowned 2-year-old Lane Graves early last week. Graves was on vacation with his family, wading in the lagoon of Disney’s Grand Floridian resort when he was snatched by an alligator. After an 18-hour search for his remains, officials discovered Graves’s body “intact” roughly 10-15 yards from the shore. An autopsy revealed that the child had died from a combination of traumatic injuries and drowning.
