The Disney Channel is reportedly developing a sequel series to Boy Meets World, which ran for seven seasons and ended more than a decade ago. Series co-creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs has signed on to the new project, Girl Meets World, which is currently in development. The new series will revolve around the preteen daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel). The Disney Channel is also hoping to get Savage and Fishel to sign on to play their beloved characters once again.
