The mission to rescue a youth soccer team and their coach from deep inside a vast cave complex in Thailand has resumed, with the same set of divers who saved four boys Sunday heading back into the complex Monday morning. Four more of the boys have been brought out of the cave, bringing the total to eight, but four more of the team and their coach remain in the cave complex after becoming trapped by rising water on 23 June—over two weeks ago. The operation is going ahead amid concerns that heavy rain on Sunday and overnight Monday may have raised water levels making the rescue more difficult. The rescue operation has been made more urgent by the oncoming monsoon season in the country.
