She couldn’t act her way out of this one. Daniele Watts, the Django Unchained actress who went on a media crusade accusing the LAPD of racism, has been charged with lewd conduct. Watts, along with her boyfriend, were arrested last month after residents in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles reported a couple having sex in their car. Watts claimed that they were only making out, but audio recordings from the LAPD—along with images of Watts straddling her boyfriend topless—proved enough for prosecutors to charge the duo with lewd conduct. The couple face up to 6 months in L.A. County Jail.
