The Los Angeles Dodgers ended Game 3 of the World Series in the wee hours of Saturday morning in dramatic fashion with a walk-off home run, beating the Boston Red Sox 3-2 in a seven-hour, twenty minute marathon that now stands as the longest ever in World Series history. The Red Sox and the Dodgers were tied for most of the game, until first baseman Max Muncy catapulted the Dodgers to victory in the 18th inning with a walk-off home run. The win, which keeps the Dodgers alive in the World Series and cuts the Red Sox lead down to 2-1, capped off a game that lasted longer than the entire 1939 World Series. Game 4 is set for Saturday at Dodger Stadium.
