In federal court on Monday, Apple will defend itself against charges that it engaged with five book publishers to fix e-book prices in an effort to beat rival Amazon. While Apple has denied its participation in the price fixing, the other five publishers have settled with the government. Meanwhile, in the trial, Apple is hoping to reveal what it says are incriminating emails from Amazon demonstrating its lack of concern for its customers, which Amazon has fought to keep sealed.
