Koch brothers, meet your new enemy. Billioniare Democrat Ton Steyer plans to spend as much as $100 million on the 2014 elections to pressure lawmakers to enact measures to fight climate change. Steyer is trying to raise $50 million with the promise to match it dollar-for-dollar. Steyer helped elect Democrat Terry McAuliffe as governor of Virgina last year by spending $11 million. This man means business.
