A Miami Beach penthouse has become the most expensive property purchased with cryptocurrency. Architectural Digest reports that an anonymous buyer (of course!) plunked down $22.5 million in crypto for the 5,000-square-foot oceanfront pad. The co-developer Giovanni Fasciano said he thinks the sale is “only the beginning”—even though recent events have illustrated the intense volatility of crypto, which can swing up or down on the strength of a Elon Musk tweet.
