A letter that was addressed to Donald Trump Jr. contained an unidentified substance and was sent to his wife Vanessa’s Manhattan apartment, law enforcement officials told NBC News. Three people, including Vanessa Trump, were taken to the hospital for observation as a precaution after the letter was opened, according to ABC. The New York City Fire Department responded to a call on East 54th Street just after 10 a.m. local time. According to a New York Police Department spokesman, “the substance was deemed to be non-hazardous and is being transported to a lab in New York City for analysis.” Officials also told ABC that the three individuals “appear to be fine.”
