President Donald Trump divulged which team he thought would win the Super Bowl during a conversation with Fox News’s Bret Baier on Sunday. Baier asked Trump about changes his administration has made since his inauguration, then asked which team he favored to win between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. Trump grudgingly predicted that the Chiefs would win, citing Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. “I hate to do it,” Trump said. “When a quarterback wins as much as he’s won, I have to go within the city. I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia is just fantastic.” Trump also heaped praise on the quarterback’s wife, Brittany Mahomes: “She’s a Trump fan—she’s a MAGA fan. So I happen to love her.” Trump will be the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl on Sunday.
