President Donald Trump’s fawning White House aide Natalie Harp maintained her signature beaming smile even amid the chaos of reporters exiting the Oval Office.
Harp, 35, looked adoringly at her boss as reporters, photographers, and camera operators were shuffled out of the room.
A video shared by journalist Acyn Torabi on social media showed Trump’s “human printer” standing still in front of a grandfather clock across the gold-adorned room from the president, staring and smiling intently at her boss as the rest of the room’s occupants filed out.
The president had signed an executive order on Monday calling for a reduction in the number of recommended childhood vaccines. He said that “nothing bad can happen from what we’re doing,” despite medical experts having warned that such a measure could leave children more vulnerable to certain diseases.
Harp’s presence at Trump’s only public event of the day follows her 35th birthday weekend, which she appeared to spend with her boss at his New Jersey golf course.
As the president attended the final round of the LIV Golf New York tournament at his Bedminster Golf Club, Harp—his executive assistant—was spotted close by throughout the weekend.
In one photo shared by Lara Trump on Instagram, Harp can be seen just behind the president, smiling and holding several documents and two cellphones.
It’s unclear what the documents are, but they could be related to her unofficial job as Trump’s “human printer,” in which she shows the self-obsessed president physical copies of positive news coverage about him.
Harp was also seen several times over the weekend with a large red bag as she accompanied the president on his golf excursion. She was spotted with the bag, made by the Utah-based brand Osprey, as she followed the president in a golf cart on Saturday, and was also seen lugging it back to the White House on Sunday.
The longtime aide has worked for Trump for several years, first reportedly joining his orbit in 2019 before working on his 2020 campaign.
She has been described as having a “very unhealthy” connection with the 80-year-old president, according to her brother, Preston Harp.
“You are all that matters to me,” Harp wrote to Trump in a personal letter, New York Times White House correspondents Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan wrote in Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump.
