The end of the world finally came for Harold Camping. The Christian radio evangelist who caused a worldwide phenomenon with his prediction the world would end on May 21, 2011 died Sunday at age 92. The announcement was made by Camping's family on Tuesday. After reportedly spending millions to advertise his "end is nigh" message, Camping said he was "flabbergasted" when the sun rose on May 22. Camping then said he was off by five months and predicted the end would come on October 21. When the world refused to be annihiliated on time, Camping retired from radio.
