Dow Closes Above 13,000

First time since 2008.

Hooray! After flirting with closing above 13,000 last week, The Dow Jones industrial average finally hit the mark Tuesday. The high note is the first time the market has closed above that level since the 2008 financial crisis hit. The Dow closed at 13,005. Meanwhile, euro markets gained Tuesday after Chancellor Angela Merkel secured Germany’s approval for the second bailout of Greece.
