At least 28 people, including four children, were killed overnight Friday in airstrikes on a rebel-held Syrian village, a monitoring group said Saturday. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the airstrikes targeted Armanaz, a village near the Turkish border in Idlib province. It was not immediately clear who carried out the airstrikes, but rescue workers have accused Syria and Russia of causing numerous civilian deaths in recent days with intensified airstrikes. Secondary airstrikes were reportedly carried out over the area early Saturday as rescue crews tried to tend to the wounded.
