The driver who allegedly instigated a fatal car crash in Pennsylvania Wednesday morning that left three people dead carried a “rambling, paranoid, strange” note in his car, according to authorities cited Thursday by Philadelphia’s NBC10. Authorities claim that 29-year-old Keith Campbell—who reportedly stabbed himself 15 to 20 times before the crash—may have been suicidal while speeding down Packer Avenue in the early hours of the morning, before he allegedly crossed the median and slammed head-on into an Acura SUV. The impact killed three passengers in the other vehicle, and left one with a broken pelvis. Campbell is expected to survive. NBC10 reports that he will be charged with “multiple counts of vehicular homicide and causing a crash involving death or bodily injuries.”
