Police in the Netherlands have arrested seven men who were allegedly plotting a large-scale terror attack in the country, according to a Thursday report from the Associated Press. The national prosecutor’s office reported that heavily armed police apprehended the men, but that an investigation of possible targets will continue. The arrests reportedly followed months of investigation by Dutch authorities, which began when they received intelligence that a 34-year-old Iraqi man planned to execute a terror attack with bomb vests, assault rifles, and car bombs.
