Comic book legend Dwayne McDuffie died on Tuesday. McDuffie, a native of Detroit, found success writing for DC and Marvel comics, penning such classics as Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight and installments of the Fantastic Four and Justice League of America series. He also wrote animated TV series, including the recently released All Star Superman. McDuffie later went on to establish his own publishing company, Milestone Media, in 1992. His age and the place of his death have not been disclosed.
