NBA basketball star Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union announced on Thursday the birth of their daughter. “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that, our miracle baby, arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days,” the Miami Heat player wrote on Twitter. “Welcome to the party sweet girl!” The couple, who have been married since August 2014, have been open about their issues with infertility, and eventually decided to use a surrogate after Union suffered nine miscarriages. “For 3 years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant,” the 46-year-old wrote in her book, We’re Going to Need More Wine. Wade, who missed Miami’s game against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night for “personal reasons,” has 3 kids from previous relationships.
