Dylann Roof's father called police to identify his son as soon as he saw still images of him and his car, according to an affidavit filed in court. The father also told police that Roof owns a .45 caliber handgun, which police say he used to shoot nine people to death inside Emanuel AME Church. The affidavit also says that Roof uttered racial slurs within the church after firing on the Bible study.
