It might look like a guinea pig, but it’s actually an earless rabbit, and it’s got some worried that radiation at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant might have caused a congenital defect. The bunny was reportedly recently born near the plant, which was severely damaged by an earthquake and tsunami in March. But experts say it’s difficult to determine whether radiation leak caused a mutation, and one historian said it’s “highly unlikely.” If more earless bunnies appear, it could be a red flag.
