Earthquake Rattles Vancouver

Magnitude 6.7 tremor felt in Seattle; no damages reported.

A magnitude-6.7 earthquake struck just off the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. It hit at 12:41 p.m. at a depth of 16.1 miles. It was not expected to create a tsunami and there were no immediate reports of damage. The quake also reportedly hit Seattle, Wash., but there were no reports of damage there either.
