An 8.0 magnitude earthquake rocked the Samoan Islands Tuesday and created three large tsunami waves, which could hit American Samoa, Samoa, Cook Islands, Tonga and Fiji. The biggest wave is 5.1 feet above sea level. Officials are studying whether Hawaii could be at risk. Airports in American Samoa and Samoa were closed in anticipation of a tsunami.
