A bomb exploded inside the Mahabodhi Temple in India early Sunday morning. Within half an hour, there were seven more blasts. All told, four bombs went off inside the temple and four outside, with two more bombs being defused outside the temple before they could explode. Luckily, due to a combination of few people using the temple at the time and the bombs being of a low intensity, the building was not damaged and only two injuries were reported. Officials are treating the incident as a terrorist attack.
