An 8-year-old girl was used in a suicide attack on Sunday in southern Afghanistan, after insurgents told her to give a package to police, which exploded as she approached their vehicle. No one else was killed in the bombing. The tragic incident comes on the heels of Saturday's brutal attack outside a hospital where a car bomb detonated, killing at least 38 people and injuring dozens more, including pregnant women, children, and elderly people. The Taliban has denied using children in their attacks.
