The photo is terrifying: the face of Jerome Isaac is severely burned after he allegedly set a woman on fire in a Brooklyn elevator. Issac, who was appearing in court, is accused of spraying the woman with gasoline before igniting her with a barbecue lighter and then throwing a Molotov cocktail at her; he was apparently upset after she did not paid him for some work he had done because she caught him stealing. At the hearing Monday, Isaac’s lawyers did not ask for bail or a psychiatric evaluation.
