Eliot Spitzer will not be joining Current TV in its latest venture with Al Jazeera. The politician turned TV-show host announced the amicable breakup Sunday, noting that he had a relationship with Joel Hyatt and Al Gore—Current’s founders—not Al Jazeera. “Moving forward, their mission will be different,” he said. The former New York governor was asked to take over Keith Olbermann’s slot last year, nine months after his own CNN show was canceled.
