Elizabeth Taylor’s bling is almost as famous as the late actress herself, and come December, her $30 million collection will be up for auction at Christie’s in New York. Many of the 300 pieces were gifts from Taylor’s various husbands, including the 33.19-carat ring Richard Burton bought for Taylor in 1968 and the 17th-century Taj Mahal diamond pendant he gave her as a 40th-birthday present. The ring was the first of many jewels Burton bought for Taylor and is expected to sell for $3.5 million. A portion of the profits will go to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
