Elton John Is Writing a ‘Devil Wears Prada’ Musical

Sir Elton John and Paul Rudnick are writing a new Broadway musical inspired by The Devil Wears Prada, a best-selling early aughts book and eminently quotable movie starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. According to a press release, the musical will be given the same name and will be produced by Kevin McCollum, Fox Stage Productions, and Rocket Entertainment. "Re-imagining The Devil Wears Prada for the musical theater is super exciting. I'm a huge fan of both the book and the feature film, and a huge aficionado of the fashion world," John said in a statement. "I can't wait to sink my musical teeth into this hunk of popular culture."
