Eminem will open this year’s MTV Video Music Awards amid a massive white set in Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre Sunday night. The rapper is nominated for eight VMAs, and will perform in a curvy space to evoke mid-century modern architecture and ‘50s pop culture. The set was created by German designer Florian Wieder.
