Emma Watson's Skimpy Shoe Selection: Emma Watson told Radio Times that she only owns eight pair of shoes. (The shoes Watson is photographed wearing day to day are usually borrowed pieces.) It's a stark contrast from the shoe porn seen in her latest film, The Bling Ring, or, what she calls ‘consumerism as a form of kleptomania.’ [Telegraph]

Vevers’s Vision: News broke on Monday that Stuart Vevers had been appointed as Coach's new creative director, replacing Reed Krakoff. Vevers spoke to WWD about his future strategy for the brand in a feature published on Tuesday, explaining that he plans to combine his educational background in ready-to-wear and his experience in luxury to accentuate the heritage authenticity of the Coach brand. “My style is to take that heritage and to play it against modern references, youth culture, references that take things to a different place and make them relevant now. That’s what I’ve always been known for in my work,” he told the paper. [WWD]

Cans Wear Couture: Berlin designer Lessja Verlingieri -- who counts Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, and Gwyneth Paltrow as fans -- has created eight designer garbage bins that are retailing for up to $6,540. The range is aptly titled ‘trashion.’ [Daily Mail]

The Male Chest Hair Affair: A fur coat made entirely of male chest hair is the ultimate symbol of masculinity -- or so hopes the chocolate milk company Wing Co., which commissioned the design. The Daily Mail reports that the jacket is constructed of over one million chest hairs and took over 200 hours to create. [Daily Mail]
