Errol Musk—father of billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon—has responded after his estranged granddaughter, Vivian Wilson, called him a “racist” and “psychopath” in a series of since-deleted posts on Threads.
Earlier this week, Wilson attacked Errol and the New York Times over a story about Errol’s relationship with son Elon, which came under scrutiny after Errol said Elon “hasn’t been a good dad.”
“If there is someone who has kids with his stepdaughter, has murdered people, and is a huge f---ing racist, (alongside many other things I can’t say publicly), maybe don’t give them a f---ing platform & maybe don’t repeat what they have said,” she wrote on Threads in a now deleted post.
Errol has two children with his former stepdaughter and was acquitted of manslaughter after killing three home intruders in a 1998 shootout.
“I do not care what he said, I do not care what he thinks, he is a complete f---ing psychopath and 99% of what he says is utter bulls--t. So don’t give him the time of day. That’s it. This is common sense,” she continued.
Errol responded to the remarks Thursday in an email to the Daily Beast
“This is a sad thing,” he wrote. “The language used tells one everything.”
Wilson, who is transgender, has a strained relationship with her father, Elon, who has said that the “woke mind virus” killed his daughter.
In The New York Times article published Friday, Errol said that he and Elon are on good terms despite his remarks about the billionaire’s parenting. “Always have been,” he told the outlet, adding that Elon recently bought him a Bentley.
In 2017, Elon dragged his father in a Rolling Stone article, calling him a “terrible human being.”
“My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil,” Elon said. “He will plan evil.”
