The escort who has plagued Silvio Berlusconi with scandal in recent weeks now says the Italian prime minister offered her a seat in the European Parliament. According to Patrizia D'Addario, the deal fell through after Berlusconi’s wife—who filed for divorce in May, citing her husband's taste in younger women—complained. No advancements were made in the project, D’Addario said, and so she was instead offered the opportunity to be a candidate in Berlusconi’s political party in the European parliamentary elections last month.
