This may interfere with Julian Assange’s plan to leak documents from a big U.S. bank: The U.S. Justice Department is considering charging Assange under the Espionage Act of 1917, according to The Washington Post. "Let me be very clear," Attorney General Eric Holder said. "It is not saber-rattling.” Responding to questions about whether Assange, a citizen of Australia, not the U.S., can be charged in U.S. courts, Holder said that nobody “because of their citizenship or their residence, is not a target or a subject of an investigation that's ongoing.”
