Esquire Editor in Chief David Granger was ousted Friday from the famed men’s magazine after 19 years at the publication. He will be succeeded by Jay Fielden, editor-in-chief of fellow Hearst publication Town & Country. Several outlets speculated that Granger’s exit may be related to Esquire’s declines in circulation and ad pages in recent years. Granger’s exit is scheduled for March 31.
