Europe Wins Ryder's Cup

A groan goes up from country clubs across America: The Americans went down to the European team in the Ryder Cup on Monday. It wasn’t without a fight, however: Americans Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson, and Zach Johnson rallied on Monday to even the score at 14-14. However, reigning U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell beat Hunter Masan to give the Europeans a 14.5-13.5 victory. Tiger Woods began the tournament with the worst Ryder Cup loss of his career, but then went on to play some of his best golf of the year in later matches.
