Evacuations Underway As Hurricane Nears

Florida Governor Rick Scott issued a warning that told citizens in coastal cities of the state to prepare for the potential of Hurrican Matthew making landfall on Thursday night. Residents began to evacuate on Wednesday to avoid the Category 3 storm. The National Hurricane Center has said that the center of the storm will get "very near" the Atlantic Coast but they have not said definitively whether it would make landfall. Even if it doesn't make landfall, Florida is likely to be hit by strong winds from the hurricane.
