Evan Rachel Wood For Gucci

Will be the face of its new fragrance.

Meet Gucci's new girl: Evan Rachel Wood, the brooding 21-year-old actress, will be the face of the line's new fragrance. “I chose Evan Rachel Wood as she has very strong character,” Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, told WWD. “She’s young, but rising and [an] influential figure. I didn’t want to offer this project to someone overexposed or too well known. Instead, I wanted a fresh individual that would coincide with the image of the project.” Wood—who recently appeared in Woody Allen's Whatever Works—joins James Franco at Gucci, who is the face of its fragrance for men.
